Mike...I signed up, with RS, but it says my WMP is not compatible with the file type. The only other choice they give is RP, and I didn't want to use that one. Wonder why WMP isn't compatible, when that is one of their player choices?

That is odd. Have you got Winamp? That might play it.

Greg Bell is the host of the OTR channel on XM. I wonder how he'll do with this venture.

Mike...yes, I have WinAmp...but just wonder if they would accept it?

Gil, you could always try this trick. Right click on the icon where it says "Listen now" and select "Copy link address" (or something like that). Then go to your media player of whatever sort and find Play URL or Open URL. Paste the address you've copied into the box they show you. That should let you play the show you want to hear.

Well, it does for me anyway. Try it and see if it works on your machine.

Mike...I couldn't find the place, on WMP, saying "Open URL". WinAmp was the only player that had it...but the file still wouldn't play.

This seems strange. Have you tried a different file from the same website?

How old is your WMP? Do you need an updated version to play their files? I have WMP 11 at home, but WMP 10 at the office plays their shows just as well.

Mike...I found the place to open the URL link, for WMP. I have WMP version 11. It still says it can't play that type of file. Are you sure the "Listen Now" icon is correct?
I even tried the one just below, saying "Duffy's Tavern"...that didn't work, either. I was going to see if I could use my "MPC" (Media Player Classic), which plays RA...but now, it only comes up with the WMP. Where do you go, on that site, to change players?

OK, I'm scratching my head here. Not sure where you can change the sort of player you chose when you signed up. Puzzled that the site and your WMP don't seem to be able to talk to each other. Has this happened with any other websites? (And if you see a show that you desperately want, I might be able to get it for you...)

Mike...no, I'm usually able to use my WMP, on other sites.

Mike, I can't get this to play with RP either. It says .cook is unknown type?

Odd. I play mine with WinAmp, set as my default player, and it seems to accept it without problems.
